Biography

Alfred Winkler was a West German Nordic combined skier who placed 25th at both the 1968 Grenoble and the 1972 Sapporo Winter Games. For seven years he was a member of the West German Nordic combined national team. Winkler was a trained painter, but later worked as a sports teacher.
