Biography

Center Forward Stefan Örnskog played most of his career from 1987-01 with HV71, except for a short spell with JYP Jyväskylä in Finland from 1998-00. With HV71, Örnskog won his only Swedish title in 1995. Internationally Örnskog played at the 1994 Winter Olympics, where he won a gold medal and at the 1994 and 1995 World Championships, winning silver in 1995 and bronze in 1994. After finishing his sporting career, Örnskog worked as an ice hockey coach, coaching HV71 junior and youth teams.
