Biography

Chris Bailey was a defenseman who played for the USA at the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics, winning a gold and silver medal. She also played five times, and won five silver medals, at the World Championships, in 1994, 1997, and 1999-2001. Bailey went to Providence College, where she led them to three consecutive ECAC (East Coast Athletic Conference) Championships in 1992-94, and finished her career with 27 goals, 49 assists, and 76 points. In 1993-94 she led all NCAA defenseman in points (25) and goals (9), and was named that year as the Most Valuable Player at the ECAC Championships. She later became a hospital sales consultant.
