Biography

German Heinrich Roßner could not participate in 1932 due to an injury after a training accident in Lake Placid, when he and his pilot and brakeman, Fritz Grau and Albert Brehme, crashed into a 20-meter deep abyss. The passenger list of the “SS Europe” from Bremen to New York of 15 January 1932 lists his age as 37 years and his residence as Zeitz. Professionally, he was owner of the Obermühle (upper mill) in Zeitz.
