Biography

Tony Mmoh was a Nigerian professional tennis player who played for Nigeria’s Davis Cup team from 1986 to 1988. Prior to this Mmoh reached the second round at the 1985 US Open.

Mmoh graduated from Saint Augustine’s College in Raleigh, North Carolina and became a US citizen. He competed in the singles and doubles at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, reaching the second round in the former. His son Michael was born in Saudi Arabia in 1998 while he was coaching the nation’s Davis Cup team. Mmoh later ran a sports management company and worked on starting a futsal league in Saudi Arabia.
