Bastian Swillims was a German 400 metres runner participating with the 4x400 metres relays at the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics. They placed seventh in 2004 and were eliminated in the heats in 2008. Swillims won three German national indoor titles in 2002, 2007, 2010, and outdoors in 2007 when he enjoyed his greatest moment by winning the silver medal at the European Indoor Championships. Swillims studied sports and event management and became a self-employed agent.
