Biography
Romanian equestrian Anghel Donescu won 30 national titles and had 30 wins in international events in riding, show jumping, and dressage. Along with compatriots Dumitru Velicu and Petre Roșca, Donescu won bronze in the team event at the 1980 Moskva Olympics. He also finished in sixth place in the individual competition at the Moskva Games. Donescu was also a two-time Balkan champion, winning titles in Athína and Zagreb.
