Biography

Constant Van Langhendonck was a gold medalist in the 1900 equestrian long jump event, aboard Extra-Dry. He also entered the high jump event, on Black Fly, and the show jumping competition, riding Roxanne, a 6-year old chestnut mare. In the high jump event, Roxanne was ridden by Charles Van Langhendonck, presumably a relative although the precise relation is not known. Constant Van Langhendonck was a lieutenant in the 1st regiment of guides in 1902.
