Biography

Georges Détreille won a gold medal in the team road race at the 1920 Olympics in Antwerpen, placing sixth individually. The same year he won Paris-Rouen and Paris-La Flèche. From 1922-26 Détreille raced professionally, mostly for JB Louvet teams. During these years he had a number of podium places. In 1926 he took part in the Tour de France for the Meteore-Wolber team, finishing 19th.
