Biography

Kurt Postl was an Austrian road cyclist who participated in the 1960 Rome Olympics. He rode with the 100 km time trial team, finishing 13th, and was 42nd in the individual road race. He won the Austrian national road race title in 1959 and 1960, and added a tandem title in 1959, in addition to a 100 km team time trial title in 1960. In 1960, Postl turned professional and rode with the Italian team Ignis. He finished 14th at the 1961 Tour de Suisse. Earlier, he rode several editions of the Austrian Tours as an amateur until 1960 and as a professional until 1963.
