Biography

West German cyclist Achim Stadler finished 36th in the individual road at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. In 1980, he won the “Around Köln” road race, and the following year won the national team time trial title. In 1983, he entered the podium at the Tour of Britain, finishing third. Stadler later owned a bicycle shop in his hometown of Weinheim.
