George Bonfiglio served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Fitchburg State Teachers College and the New England Conservatory of Music after which he was a teacher in Malden, Massachusetts where he was a member of the Malden Teachers Association and past-president of the Malden Teachers Union.
Bonfiglio co-founded the 27th Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps in Revere, Massachusetts and was the director and served as a President of Drum Corps International. He was also a member of American Legion Post #61 and VFW Post #6712 in Revere.
