Biography

Pedro Cabrera served in the Spanish military and fenced for one of its more prominent clubs, El Club de Esgrima del Centro Cultural de los Ejércitos. While his career spanned nearly five decades, his international highlight came at the 1959 Mediterranean Games, where he won a bronze medal with the épée team, alongside Jesús Díez, Manuel Martínez, and Joaquín Moya. The quartet competed in that event the following year at the 1960 Rome Olympics, but were eliminated in round one. Cabrera was also eliminated in the first round of the individual épée and was a reserve with the foil and sabre teams, but did not appear in any matches.
