Arthur Pilbrow had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1950 British Empire Games Sabre Individual, 1st in the 1950 British Empire Games Sabre Team (with Charles de Beaumont and Bob Anderson), 1st in the 1950 British Empire Games Foil Team (with Bob Anderson and René Paul).
