Biography
Thomas Endres from the famous FC Tauberbischofsheim won the silver medal with the West German foil team at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He also won another team silver at the 1989 World Championships. He was subsequently awarded the Silver Bay Leaf, Germany’s highest sports award. Endres won his only national individual title in 1988.
