Biography

Midfielder Frank Terletzki was on the final East German football (soccer) squad at the 1980 Moskva Olympics that won the silver medal after losing the final against Czechoslovakia 1-0. In total, he earned four international caps, scoring one goal and six more with the GDR Olympic team, also scoring one goal.

Domestically, Terletzki played with BFC Dynamo Berlin from 1969-86, winning the East German championships consecutively from 1979-86. With Berlin, he played 373 Oberliga matches, scoring 91 goals. After German re-unification, Terletzki worked as a football (soccer) coach at lower league amateur clubs. By profession, he was a policeman.
