Biography

After winning the Boys Championship with Lazio in 1930, Francesco Gabriotti won the title with the youth team of AS Alba Rome the following season. In 1932 he returned to wear Lazio’s white and sky blue jersey and remained with the club until 1936, the year of the Berlin Olympics, where he participated in the final, his first and only international match. His position was on the left wing, but he mostly played in the midfield supporting the strikers. Just a few weeks after the gold medal win in Berlin, a serious accident put an end to his promising career.
