Biography

Adel Al Mulla spent the earliest part of his football career with Al-Khor SC and Al-Arabi Doha before joining Al-Rayyan SC, where he stayed for over a decade from 1991 through 2002. During that time, the team won the top-level league twice (1990 and 1995), the Emir of Qatar Cup in 1999, the Qatar Crown Prince Cup in 1995, 1996, and 2001, and the Qatar Super Cup in 1992 and 2000. For the final season of his career, he returned to Al-Arabi. For nearly that entire time, he was also a member of the Qatari National Team, helping them win the Arabian Gulf Cup in 1992 and come runner up in 1996. He also competed at the 1992 and 2000 AFC Asian Cups, as well as the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, where Qatar was eliminated by upcoming silver medalists Poland in the quarter-finals. After his retirement from active competition, he worked as a sports broadcaster.
