Biography

Wilfred Blatherwick was one of 10 children born to John Henry Blatherwick and Janet “Netta” McArthur Blatherwick. He became a doctor who practiced in Los Angeles but returned to Rock Valley, Iowa, where he was born, to practice in his later years. Blatherwick competed in singles and doubles at the 1904 Olympics, losing in the quarter-finals of the singles.
