Biography

A defender, Bashashkin played 21 international matches, including 8 at the Olympics. In national competition, he played for CSKA and, briefly, Spartak (both Moscow), collecting a total of four titles and three Soviet cup wins. Following his active career he became a trainer with Tashkent, Krasnaya Presnya Moskva and Spartak.
