Dario Brose

Dario Brose played college soccer (football) at North Carolina State University, where he was named All-American in 1990. After college Brose moved to Europe, starting with Stade Biochin in Saint-Brieuc, France (1991-95), and later playing with FC Saarbrücken in Germany from 1995-99. He then returned to the States and played for the San José Clash/Earthquakes from 1999-2001.

Internationally Brose played for the US team at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, at the 1989 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and was on the senior US National team from 1994-97, earning four caps. He retired after the 2001 season and began coaching, first near Silicon Valley and then in Michigan. Brose eventually settled in the Triangle area of North Carolina, coaching various youth and club teams, although he came back to play one game in 2007 with the Carolina RailHawks.
