Polish gymnast Barbara Eustachiewicz was a four-time national champion, winning gold in the vault (1961, 1963) and the free exercise (1962–63). During the 1960s Eustachiewicz represented Poland at multiple international competitions including the 1961 European Championships and the 1962 World Championships. In 1960 she made her début at the Olympics, placing fifth in the team event at the Roma Games, with a best individual performance of 24th in the all-round event. Four years later she placed seventh in the team event at the Tokyo Games. Following her competitive career Eustachiewicz worked as a judge, officiating at international competitions from 1980 onwards.
