Biography

Eveline Slavici, a native of București, was a member of the 1952 Romanian Olympic gymnastics team in Helsinki where she finished sixth out of her eight teammates with 67.73 individual points. Her best individual results at the Romanian National Championships were second place in individual, parallel and low bars and third place in floor exercise and balance beam in 1953. She was also a member of the Romanian team at the 1954 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Roma.

Her son, Vlad Hagiu was a member of the Romanian water polo team at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, and won a bronze medal at the 1981 Summer Universiade held in București.
