Biography

Arthur Sundbye competed in three events at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. He competed in the individual all-around (109th); the individual all-around, apparatus work (99th); and the individual all-around, field sports (=108th). Sundbye represented the Brooklyn Norwegier Turnverein. He was born in Oslo, Norway but came to the US and was naturalized with his parents. Sundbye worked as a steam fitter in Brooklyn.
