Biography

Vanadis Putzke was on the West German handball squad that finished fourth in the round-robin tournament at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. The team lost to Yugoslavia, China and Korea, and beat USA and Austria. Domestically, she played with TSV Milbertshofen. Putzke later turned to professional handball coaching in the München area. Her daughter Saskia also became a handball player.
