Biography

Tom Schneeberger played basketball at the US Air Force Academy, where he was team MVP, and was good enough to be a ninth round draft choice of the Denver Nuggets in the 1978 NBA Draft. Schneeberger also competed for the US in basketball at the 1978 World Championships and the 1979 and 1981-83 World Military Championships (CISM). Schneeberger was an Academic All-American at the Air Force Academy, graduating in 1978 with a degree in engineering, and then obtained a masters’ degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan in 1980. Schneeberger won a gold medal in handball at the 1987 Pan American Games.
