Biography

Irish by birth, Neville Cole was a three-time Amateur Boxing Association champion who won titles at lightweight in 1970 and 1972 and light-welterweight in 1973. His two major championship appearances were disappointments as he lost his first bout at both the 1972 Olympic Games and the following year’s European Championships.
