Biography

Along with Ted Chilcott, Jack Taylor, Norm Rowe, John Sharp, Mervin Kaye, Jack Russell, George McCauley, and Bo Westlake, Frank Young was a member of the Toronto Argonaut Rowing Club team which represented Canada in the eights event at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. Unfortunately, the team just fell short of the final, as they were eliminated in the semi-final repêchage. Later in his life, Young was also an avid golfer and racquetball player, winning the Ontario Masters Championship in the latter sport for three consecutive years.
