Biography

German rower Werner Kleine was eliminated in the coxed fours at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. His boat from RC Sturmvogel Berlin won the German national title the same year. Kleine immigrated in 1953 to the US, where he died in 2005 at age 97.
