Biography

Renato Bosatta was an Italian rower and a leading member of the famous Falck club. He was stroke to the coxless fours, alongside Tullio Baraglia, Giancarlo Crosta and Giuseppe Galante, that won the silver medal at the 1960 Roma Olympics. Bosatta repeated the performance four years later at the Tokyo Games, but this time he was stroke to the coxed fours. His last Olympic race was at the 1968 Mexico City Games when he led the coxless fours, alongside Baraglia, Pier Angelo Conti-Manzini and Abramo Albini, to the bronze medal, behind the East German and Hungarian crews.
