Biography

Renzo Bulgarello was an Italian rower, who started in the sport while he was in military service with the Italian Navy, in 1968. Bulgarello would go on to win Italian titles in both coxed four and the eights. He competed at the 1970 World Championships in the four, placing 10th, and was 11th in the eight at the 1971 European Championships.

Bulgarello competed at the 1972 München Olympics in the eight, where he was the stroke. He retired shortly after those Olympics. Bulgarello became a railway worker in his native Guarda Veneta.
