Biography

Adam Holland rowed the pair at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, alongside Mike Peterson. Holland was on the US rowing team from 1994-2002, competing at six World Championships. He won a silver medal in the fours with in 1994 and a bronze medal in the coxless pair in 1997. He also won a medal in the four at the 1993 Universiade.

Holland graduated from Harvard with a degree in folklore & mythology. He later obtained a law degree from Boston University. He eventually became a project manager at the Berkman Klein Center, a research center for the study of cyberspace, in which he worked on the Lumen, Law Lab and Youth & Media projects. Holland also coached both rowing and wrestling at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols prep school in Cambridge.
