Australian pistol shooter Rodney Johnson competed at three Olympics – 1956, 1960, and 1964, competing in free pistol at each Games. Johnson was a member of the Melbourne International Shooting Club (MISC). He served as club president from 1962-66, 1970-71, and 1974-75, and was club secretary-general from 1985-2008. He was Australian free pistol champion in 1959. He was later made an Honorary Member of MISC and received the Medal of the Order of Australia.
