Biography

Katsuo Kameoka graduated from Nihon University prior to working for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo. In 1930, he won the featherweight division at the fifth championships sponsored by the All Japan Amateur Fighting Federation. At the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics he lost in the first round of the featherweight division to eventual bronze medalist Allan Carlsson from Sweden.
