Biography

Kyu-Hwan Lee was a member of the Korean Fist Boxing Club who represented Japan at the 1936 Berlin Olympics in the welterweight division. His title in this class at the All Japan Championships claimed earlier that year earned him a place on the Olympic team. In 1937, he placed first at the Meiji Jingu Games. At home in Korea Lee won first ever title in boxing in this division.
