Biography

Solko van den Bergh, president of the shooting club Oranje Nassau, was a notary. His son, Gerard, was also a successful shooter, winning two World Championship medals and competing in two Olympics. Gerard was also present at the 1900 Olympics, winning the military rifle event for young shooters.
