James Clark shot trap for the United States at the 1960 Olympics, just missing a medal by placing fourth. Clark went to college at the University of Oklahoma. In 1960 he was a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. He made the Olympic team by placing second at the US Olympic Trials.
