Biography

Team clay pigeon shooting was the only event that Jay Clark competed in at the 1920 Olympics. He was well known as a shooter, having won the Westy Hogan Trapshoot at Atlantic City in 1913, but he was better known as a race car driver in Massachusetts. He competed in hill climbs and dirt track races all over New England and set a record at a Worcester track which was broken only by Barney Oldfield. Clark attended Grinnell College in Iowa and Harvard Law School and made his living practicing law in Worcester
