Biography

George Quigley was a skeet shooter who competed for the USA at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. He had been an alternate for the 1988 US Olympic team. Quigley won skeet gold at the 1993 Cairo World Cup. He was runner-up at the 1995 US Championships and the 1995 US Olympic Festival.

Quigley was a native of Cincinnati, and a member of the Miami Valley Skeet Club and the Fairfield Sportsmen’s Association. He graduated from Moeller High School in Cincinnati and then Xavier University, with degrees in marketing and communications. He later joined Camargo Publications in Cincinnati, a magazine publisher, eventually becoming President of the company.
