Biography

Vũ Văn Danh was a lieutenant colonel in the South Vietnamese national police, where he was an assistant to the commander. A founder and chairman of his country’s national sports shooting organization, he was one of its three representatives to the 1968 Olympic Games, where he placed 53rd in the 25 metres rapid-fire pistol event. His wife, Hương Hoàng Thi was also active in the sport, and competed at the 1972 Olympic Games in München.
