Biography

Swimmer Sylvia Langer was a breaststroke specialist who participated in her only international competition at the 1972 München Olympics. In both breaststroke events she was eliminated in the semifinals and failed to reach the finals. At East German nationals Langer claimed two bronze medals in 1970 and 1972.
