Biography

Lamberto Mari was an Italian diver who competed at the 1952 and 1960 Olympic Games, placing sixth on springboard in Roma. He won two medals at the 1959 Mediterranean Games, with a gold on platform and a silver on springboard. Mari reached the springboard finals at the 1950 European Championships, where he finished tenth, and 1958, when he finished eighth. Domestically, Mari won a total of 15 titles between 1951 and 1961, nine from 3 meters and six from 10 m. After leaving the sport prematurely, he spent his business career as an entrepreneur.
