Biography

Born in the Dutch East Indies in 1915, Corrie Laddé was a talented swimmer who represented the Netherlands in the 1930s. Laddé was a member of the Het Y swimming club in Amsterdam when she was selected to compete at the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. She swam in the 100 metres, reaching the semi-finals, and won silver as part of the relay team in the 4 × 100 metres freestyle.
