Biography

Zoe Ann Olsen from the Athens AC in Oakland, California won the first of her 12 AAU diving titles as a 14-year-old in 1945. She was the only woman diver to win medals at both the 1948 and 1952 Olympics. Between those two Olympics, Zoe Ann Olsen met and married Jackie Jensen. Olsen was a beautiful blonde, and Jensen was a handsome, muscular football and baseball player from Cal/Berkeley who would later play with both the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. Theirs was thought to be a match made in heaven but like so many of those, it did not last. They divorced in 1963, but then remarried in 1964, only to divorce again in 1968.
