Biography

Judy Reeder was born in Pueblo, Colorado but later lived in California, attending Santa Clara High School. She trained with the Santa Clara Swim Club in California. She won the 1964 US Olympic trials in the 100 breaststroke in 1:20.1, which was quite surprising to legendary Santa Clara coach, George Haines. Little else is known of her life.
