Biography

Pat Kennedy swam for the University of Florida from 1983-86, winning four individual SEC Championships (1983-84 200 back, 1983-84 200IM) and was named All-American nine times. In 1984 Kennedy was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) swimmer of the year. Kennedy specialized in butterfly and IM, swimming the 200 fly at the 1984 Olympics, where he finished eighth. He is a member of the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame.
