Biography

Bernadette Kőszegi played volleyball for Hungary for 10 years, earning 224 caps. In addition to her 1980 Olympic appearance, she competed at the World Championships, and five times at the Europeans, where she won bronze medals in 1977, 1981, and 1983. Domestically she played for Szombathely Spartacusból Vasas Klub, winning five league titles (1980, 1983-85, 1988), and five Hungarian Cups (1979-80, 1985, 1988-1989. She also won two medals at the European Cup, a silver in 1982 and a bronze in 1985.
