Biography

East German wrestler Christian Luschnig was eliminated early in freestyle’s featherweight class at the 1960 Roma Olympics. He lost his first two fights and collected six bad points. He claimed three East German national titles (1959, 1960, and 1965) and eight more podium places between 1959 and 1969. He participated at the World Championships in 1965, placing 7th, and the European Championships in 1966.
