Biography

Between 1957 and 1964 Jérôme Christ made 58 appearances for the French national basketball team. At the 1959 European Basketball Championships he was part of the squad that won the bronze medal. A year later he represented France at the 1960 Roma Olympics, playing in all eight matches and scoring 22 points. Christ played at the 1961 European Basketball Championships where France just missed out on a medal after they finished in fourth place. In 2003 Christ became the President of SIG Strasbourg, winning the French League with the club in the 2004–05 season.
