Biography

Livio Franceschini won three Italian titles with Ginnastica Triestina (1932, 1934, 1940) and one with Ginnastica Roma (1935). He competed at the Berlin Olympics where the Azzurri placed seventh. In the match against Germany, the Azzurri scored 58 points, its best at Berlin. Franceschini earned 16 international caps, scoring 170 points.

After the war, where Franceschini participated in the defense of Roma, he returned to Trieste and started an artistic career as a watercolor artist.
